Daycare & Preschool

Come Grow With Us!

Day Care and Preschool is Offered at Little Sprouts Early Learning Center.

​

Care is provided for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years at the Little Sprouts Early Learning Center, conveniently located on Project Self-Sufficiency's campus.  The sparkling facility features separate classrooms for each age group, full-day and half-day preschool, and age-appropriate playgrounds.

​

Certified teachers are available in each classroom and the child-teacher ratio adheres to or exceeds state standards.

Project Vacation

Programs for Kids

Children ages 4 - 10 are invited to participate in enrichment activities, games, craft projects, music, story time and more during the annual Project Vacation offered by Project Self-Sufficiency.  The program is free, and runs Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., for one week during the summer. 

​

 

Project Vacation is a program of the Journey Family Success Center.

Summer Youth Employment Program

Programs for Teens

Eligible Teens, ages 15 - 18:

​

  • Competitive salary;

  • Skills assessment;

  • Resume and cover letter guidance;

  • Workplace etiquette workshops;

  • Interview techniques practice;

  • Job applications assistance;

  • On-the-job experience at a community work site;

 

Program takes place during July and August.  Income, residency and other guidelines apply. Applications available for parents and teens.

High School Diplomas
Young Adults, Ages 16 - 25, Can Get a High School Diploma through the New Jersey Youth Corps at Project Self-Sufficiency.

​

Youth Corps gives young adults, ages 16 - 25, in Sussex and northern Warren County, New Jersey, a chance to prepare for the High School Equivalency (GED) exam, get on-the-job training, perform community service, and earn a weekly stipend. Transportation, childcare and the support needed to succeed is provided.

​

The sixteen-week program is offered three times a year.  Apply online or call 973-940-3500.

Bridges to Employing Youth

Help for Young Parents
Pregnant & Parenting Young Adults, Ages 18 - 24, Can Get Career and Parenting Help with Bridges to Employing Youth.

​

The Bridges to Employing Youth program is offered year round to pregnant and parenting young adults, ages 18 - 24.  Fine-tune career skills, get help with education and literacy goals; counseling support and transportation assistance available.

​

Driver's license education available!
