Each spring, Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County proudly sponsors a team in the annual Race for the Cure on behalf of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® North Jersey Affiliate foundation.
Thousands of participants come together to help the organization raise funds for breast cancer research and outreach to underinsured and uninsured women in northern New Jersey.
The multi-faceted breast health awareness program at Project Self-Sufficiency is a recipient of the funds raised by the annual Race for the Cure. Project Self-Sufficiency staff, Board members and participants are proud to give back to an organization that has helped so many women. Interested participants are encouraged to register online and click on Team Project Self-Sufficiency/Sussex County. Free bus transportation from the Project Self-Sufficiency campus is provided to all team members.
