The B. Douglas Gordon & Elizabeth Houskeeper Gordon Family Counseling Center at Project Self-Sufficiency offers rooms for private meetings with agency counselors, along with resource libraries for information about parenting, legal assistance and other issues.
Conference rooms offer space for seminars and large group gatherings.
Project Self-Sufficiency partners with individuals and families on their journey to economic self-sufficiency and family stability. Participants are invited to meet privately with their Case Manager during the initial intake process. The Case Manager then assists that participant with developing short-term and long-term goals for personal and economic self-sufficiency.
Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the other services available through Project Self-Sufficiency's Family Counseling Center, including:
- Information, referral and advocacy accessing community resources;
- Home Visitation;
- Case Management;
- Parenting Skills Training;
- Legal Assistance and Education;
- Daycare and Early Childhood Education;
- GED and Literacy Skills Assistance;
- Family Activities;
- Health Education;
- Help with emergency basic needs;
- and other services.
